AI Software Factory โ€” Founding Member Cohort

Your vibe coding didn't
stop working.
Your codebase just stopped
forgiving mistakes.

The AI Software Factory is the governed build system that takes you from fragile, untouchable codebase to clean, structured development โ€” without ever learning to code.

I'll set it up on your actual codebase with you. Personally.

The Problem

There's a moment every vibe coder hits.

Your app is working. You've shipped something real. People are using it. You're telling people you're building a startup โ€” and for once, it's actually true.

For a while it feels like an open road. You prompt, it builds. You iterate, it improves. The momentum is real. You start to believe you've cracked something most people haven't.

Then the terrain changes.

Not dramatically. Not all at once. Just โ€” one day you make a change and something unrelated breaks. You fix that, something else shifts. You add a feature and the thing you built last week stops working.

You paste the error into Cursor. It gives you a fix. You apply it.

Three new errors appear.

You paste those in. The AI apologises and gives you a slightly different version of the same wrong answer.

You try Claude. Same loop.

You added a payment flow. The auth stopped working. You fixed the auth. The dashboard broke. Three days later you were back where you started โ€” and you still weren't sure why.

At some point you realise: every move now has consequences you can't fully see. The codebase that felt so easy to build is the thing working against you.

The Wrong Conclusion

Most vibe coders who hit this moment walk away with the same conclusion.

"I've hit my ceiling. I need to learn to code โ€” or hire a developer. Both will take time and money I don't have."

That belief is wrong. And it almost stopped me too.

Why I Built This

Surfing shot

GP. Surfer.
Accidental software builder.

My name is Tom Rolley.

Not long ago I had no coding background. None. I didn't know what a merge conflict was. I'd never pushed to GitHub. I had no idea what a schema was.

But I had a problem I needed to solve โ€” and I had AI tools. So I started building. Cursor. Claude. A bit of chaos. And somehow... it worked. I built Domino. I built MagicBoards. Real software, used by real people, built by someone who technically had no business building software.

Then it happened. My app started breaking in ways I couldn't fix by prompting. Hours turned into days. Days turned into a week on a single feature.

I didn't accept the "learn to code" conclusion. Instead I asked a different question:

What if the problem isn't my skills โ€” it's the absence of a system?

Vibe coding is brilliant for getting something to exist. But it was never designed to govern. It has no memory, no structure, no handoff. Every prompt is a fresh conversation with no context about what you built or why. The AI isn't broken. The process is.

So I built one.

I still can't read my codebase.
But for the first time, I don't have to.
I didn't learn to code. I learned to govern.

The AI Software Factory is the system I built after months in AI loops โ€” tested on my own live codebase. A governed prompt architecture that runs your change request through four stages before a single line is written.

My AI sessions are governed. My builds ship without breaking the last thing I built. That's what I'm sharing here โ€” the exact system I use, every day, to keep building.

The System

The AI Software Factory โ€”
Six Week Implementation

This isn't a course. It's not a prompt kit you download and figure out alone. It's a governed build system โ€” and I set it up on your actual codebase with you.

The AI Software Factory Prompt Architecture

The governed prompt sequence I built after months in AI loops โ€” tested on my own live codebase. Four stages run in a specific order. Each has a defined role. Each produces a specific output. The AI does the work. You govern the process.

This is the core. Everything else supports you implementing it.

2
One Private Onboarding Call

Before anything else, we get on a call โ€” just us. I learn your codebase. You learn the system. We map the prompt architecture to your specific situation so you leave knowing exactly what to do first.

This isn't optional. It's how the system actually works on your build rather than someone else's.

3
Three Fortnightly Group Calls โ€” Over Six Weeks

Every two weeks for six weeks, founding members get on a live call together. We work through real problems on real codebases. Someone hits a wall you haven't hit yet โ€” you watch it get solved. You hit a wall someone else already navigated โ€” they've got you.

This is where the system gets sharp. Peer learning on live builds accelerates everyone.

4
MagicBoards and Domino โ€” Access Included

I run the AI Software Factory inside MagicBoards and Domino. MagicBoards holds the governance layer โ€” long-term planning and specific implementation detail for each item. Domino handles the daily execution discipline that keeps builds moving.

You get access to both so you can watch me work in the actual tools I use. If you're already running a project management stack you trust, we can map the system to it in your onboarding call.

5
The Before You Scale Checklist

The five breaking points every vibe coder hits โ€” and exactly how to patch them before they do. The pre-flight check I wish I had before I hit the wall.

What the six weeks looks like

Week 1

Private onboarding. Your codebase, your context, the system mapped to your situation. You leave the call running.

Week 2

You're implementing. Building with the system for the first time on your own.

Week 3 โ€” Group Call 1

First real problems surface. Solved live with the group. Everyone's build gets sharper.

Week 4

Momentum building. The system is becoming habit.

Week 5 โ€” Group Call 2

Deeper problems. Peer learning accelerates. Patterns emerge across codebases.

Week 7 โ€” Group Call 3

You have a governed build process, a codebase the AI can reason about cleanly, and a case study worth sharing.

Is This For You?

This is for you ifโ€ฆ

  • You built past MVP with Cursor, Lovable, Bolt, or Claude
  • Your app works โ€” but you've stopped shipping because you're afraid of what a real bug will do in production
  • You were close to launch and stalled at the finish line
  • You've spent days on a single feature โ€” trying, reverting, trying again
  • You've looked at dev agencies and thought "I can't afford to go back to that"
  • You want to keep building with AI โ€” you just need a process that doesn't silently break things
Transparency

What it does not do

This is worth being direct about.

The AI Software Factory does not make decisions for you. The human gates are real โ€” you will be asked to review and approve before work moves forward. That's not friction. That's the point.

It does not fix a broken environment, missing credentials, or a codebase with no Git history. It needs something real to work with.

And if you're already running a project management stack you love โ€” Notion, Trello, ClickUp, whatever โ€” we map the system to it in your onboarding call. MagicBoards and Domino are what I use. They're not the only way to run this.

30-Day Guarantee

If you complete the private onboarding call, apply the governed prompt sequence to your codebase, and you don't feel like you have a clearer, more structured build process โ€” I'll refund every cent. No awkward conversations. No hoops.

I'm comfortable making that guarantee because the system works. I use it every day.

One Last Thing

It doesn't matter to me whether you sign up or not. I'll keep building with this system either way. My AI sessions are governed. My builds ship without breaking the last thing I built. I still can't read my codebase โ€” and I no longer need to.

But without this, you'll keep spending days in AI loops on single features. You'll keep hitting walls you can't prompt your way through. And eventually the "learn to code" voice will win.

I built this because I needed it. I'm sharing it because you need it too.

When you join today you get:

  • AI Software Factory Prompt Architecture (Spec โ†’ Audit โ†’ Normalisation โ†’ Plan)
